LeBron James is solidifying his entertainment empire one film/television show at a time. The Cleveland Cavaliers star player plans to create a new family comedy for NBC, Deadline reports.
Titled There Goes the Neighborhood, the production will follow the lives of a white family in Cleveland who decided to move into a predominantly black suburb.
Recently, the NBA champ announced the reported sale of a sports medicine drama to NBC as well, under his production company, SpringHill Entertainment.
Actor Mark Wahlberg also dropped the news that he and James might partner up for a new movie. “It’s actually a great idea, it’s kind of based in and around the fantasy league,” Wahlberg said on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. “So these guys get to go to one of these fantasy camps, and me and Lebron have a situation.”
