Jon Hamm and Zach Galifianakis are going to bring their funny talents in an upcoming comedy together, entitled, Keeping Up With the Joneses.
With Superbad and Paul director Greg Mottola on board to helm the project, the comedy film will follow an unfulfilled type-A suburban couple who learn that their neighbors are undercover agents. The first couple grows suspicious of the sexy, charismatic new neighbors as they ultimately become embroiled in the overall plot.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Galifianakis and Hamm are still in talks, but the duo have some chemistry together as evident of their Between Two Ferns episode.
Hamm, who will be ending his run as Don Draper on AMC’s acclaimed drama Mad Man, will next be seen on the big screen in Million Dollar Arm. Meanwhile, Hangover star Galifianakis made headlines for almost breaking the internet with his hilarious Between Two Ferns interview with U.S. President Barack Obama.
Galifianakis will be next seen in Muppets Most Wanted.
Keeping Up With the Joneses still has to cast for the female leads, and schedule a production date.
