Marlon Wayans and Essence Atkins are returning to the sitcom spotlight with this new program. Announced via NBC’s Twitter account, Marlon will reportedly premiere later this year in the fall. The sure-to-be-hilarious show will follow a few moments that’ve transpired in Marlon’s personal life, but everything will, of course, have a funny twist.
The cameras will depict how a divorced couple manages to co-parent their two precocious children. “While his misguided fatherly advice, unstoppable larger-than-life personality and unpredictable Internet superstardom might get in the way sometimes, for Marlon family really always does come first — even if he’s the biggest kid of all.” Deadline reports.

Atkins’ last television role entailed her dynamic character as Samantha Owens on Mr. Box Office. Wayans’ latest production, Fifty Shades of Black, made a comedic splash at the box office earlier this year as well.
