Reportedly the two “Ocean’s 11” cast-mates are planning on working together again! We have the details for you after the jump.
“The Bourne Identity” star is currently in talks about taking on a role in “The Monuments Men,” which George Clooney is already slated to co-write, direct and star in.
According to Deadline, if Matt Damon signs up, he will be another celebrated thespian to join alongside the likes of Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett, Jean Dujardin and Daniel Craig. The movie is based on Robert M. Edsel’s book, “The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves, And The Greatest Treasure Hunt In History,” which follows a group of art experts who are chosen to seek out artwork pilfered during World War II.
Matt has already worked with George several times in the past. The two have worked together in three “Ocean’s” films between 2001-2007 and 2005’s thriller “Syriana.”
“The Monuments Men” is set to start shooting in Europe next month, so we should have word before the end of this year if Matt Damon will join the cast or not.
