Here’s a film Silicon Valley will be racing to see. After swapping directors, studios and actors, Sony Pictures is taking Walter Isaacson’s book, Steve Jobs and turning it into a full-length feature. Michael Fassbender sheds his Magneto suit for black turtlenecks, jeans and sneakers for his leading role as the Apple gawd.
The Danny Boyle-directed flick (written by Newsroom‘s Aaron Sorkin) will center on three thirty-minute scenes, shot in real-time, surrounding press events for the releases of the Macintosh, NeXT, and the iMac. Alongside Fassbender are stars Seth Rogen (who plays Steve Wozniak), Kate Winslet (Joanna Hoffman), and Jeff Daniels (John Scully).
Expect Steve Jobs to come through on October 9.
