How does one kiss away $30 million dollars? We’ll let you know how Michael Vick did just that after the jump.
The Philadelphia Eagles quarterback has had a rough life, as we already know… There was the arrest, which lead to the court trial, and afterwards came the public shunning of Michael Vick. All that left the NFL player all kinds of debts to repay over the last four years, and according to TMZ, Vick is now down to a small fortune compared to what he started out with. Even though the still-popular QB is getting a pretty sizable check from the Eagles, he’s had to fork over large sums of money to various outlets, leaving him with just over a million dollars.
“Vick had to pay a total of $29.6 mil — of that, $10.9 went to taxes, $9.2 mil went to creditors, $2.7 went to lawyers and accountants, and the rest is for various things, including child support and living expense,” TMZ reports. Michael Vick’s many million may not have been used to buy expensive cars or vacation homes, but the amount of cash that he has shelled out is even more than he would have spend on those things. With 95% of his total income spent, has the experience left the football great more humbled in some way?
