If you were born in the 80s and grew up in the 90s, then the Power Rangers were a staple in your childhood. Whichever ranger you most identified with (red, yellow, black, pink, blue) you can’t deny having those super powers and kick-ass fight moves were all you wanted as a pre-teen.
Then a las, we became adults and now instead of fantasizing about being able to defeat enemies from all over the galaxy, our biggest nemesis is that wench Sallie Mae. But to take our minds off these bills and student loans, the trailer for the 2017 Might Morphin Power Rangers film is here and we’re way too hyped!
With the original music to the beloved 90s after-school show, moviegoers are introduced to five new teens “with attitude” taped with the great responsibility of saving the world from never-before seen threats. Introducing Dacre Montgomery as Jason, the red ranger and leader, Becky G as Trini, the yellow ranger, Ludli Lin as Zack the black ranger, Naomi Scott as Kimberly the pink ranger and RJ Cyler is the blue ranger, the crew is ready and willing.
The premise isn’t totally clear, but we don’t care. Anything that evokes our nostalgia we’re here for. Peep the trailer below.
