We sincerely hope Portland Trail Blazers forward/center LaMarcus Aldridge is keeping a detailed journal right now. Because 20 years from now, he’s definitely not going to want to forget a single thing that he’s accomplished this season. And while he’s not likely to remember every detail of last night’s game against the Miami Heat down in South Beach, his productivity during the game—26 points in a winning effort—is a great representation of what he’s been able to do on the basketball court this year.
After going out and getting a W on NBA TV Fan Night last night, Aldridge gave a few minutes of his time to talk to the NBA TV crew about a number of things, including why the Blazers have been so successful playing in Miami and how he’s been able to develop and mature as a player this year. “I’m feeling more comfortable,” he said. “This past offseason, I really worked on my body. I’m not Chris Webber out there but I’m strong!”
The video is just one of many that you can check out now over on the NBA TV Fan Night site. And while you’re there, make sure you vote for next week’s NBA TV Fan Night game of the week. You can vote once a day and your vote will ultimately decide who will get interviewed after next week’s Fan Night. There are plenty of other LaMarcus Aldridges throughout the league who deserve their moment. So make sure you vote and give them a shot to shine! GO VOTE NOW!
