Captain America: The Winter Soldier looks wonderful and dark, and Marvel’s latest film exemplifies that move with these four new images.
Steve Rogers (Chris Evans) may have swapped his star-spangled uniform for a darker grey suit, but you would too if you found out your old best friend has been brainwashed into the psychotic Winter Soldier.
With the odds stacked against him and his crew (Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow and Anthony Mackie’s Falcon), the latest issue of Empire Magazine shows off some new and fresh looks from the movie. You can see for yourself below:
The best looking shot in this batch is Sebastian Stan’s Winter Soldier holding Cap’s shield in his hands. We don’t know exactly what Robert Redford’s Alexander Pierce is conveying to S.H.I.E.L.D. director Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson), but whatever it may be, adding the screen legend to Cap’s latest adventure is a great move for Marvel.
Captain America: The Winter Soldier also stars Frank Grillo, Cobie Smulders, and Emily Van Camp. Directed by Anthony and Joe Russo, the film will jumpstart the summer blockbuster season on April 4, 2014.
