The Young Money diva has signed on to become the face of a new Pepsi beverage.
The multi-million dollar deal includes a commercial which was already shot in South America and is scheduled to release in the upcoming months. “You’ll see the commercial probably in the next two months,”said Derek Jackson, the broker of the agreement, to Forbes. “That’ll be a segue into a new beverage Pepsi has, called ‘Pop,’ and she’ll be the face of the brand … it’s going to be explosive.”
Nicki now joins labelmate Lil Wayne on the budding list of Pepsi/Cash Money partnerships as Weezy announced his own deal with Pepsi during his SXSW showcase.
His DEWeezy campaign, with Pepsi’s Mountain Dew, is also a lucrative seven figure deal and has the possibility of an original feature film.
