NWA’s biopic Straight Outta Compton has received praises from those who’ve seen early screenings of the film.
However, many would be shocked to know Oprah Winfrey, who has in the past been vocal about her disapproval of hip-hop and hip-hop culture also saw the film and (wait for it) enjoyed it.

The F. Gary Gray movie follows the members of NWA from their less than humble beginnings to legends of hip-hop, which proved to be a new discovery for the entrepreneur.

If Ms. Winfrey is singing the film’s praises, it must be great. Straight Outta Compton hits theaters August 14.
