Raven-Symone is keeping busy on the small screen. From her guest appearances on Empire to Black-ish, the actress is now taking her talents to ABC’s The View.
The 29-year-old star appeared in close to 40 shows as a recurring co-host, Buzzfeed reports. She officially joins the daytime talk show alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace.
“The Disney Company has made another one of my dreams come true! Being a part of The View family will be a wonderful growing experience for me,” Symone said in a statement. “The cast and crew are warm and welcoming and has made the transition into daytime talk easier. I have a lot to learn within this new arena, but being the apprentice of these spectacular women will only make me a better person and talk show host.. Let’s have some fun!”

During previous episodes, Raven-Symone stirred up controversy surrounding certain comments she made about First Lady Michelle Obama and her most recent statement on the possibility of Harriet Tubman gracing the $20 bill.
“No offense to everyone that’s going to be mad at me for saying this, I don’t like that idea,” she said. “I think we need to move a little bit forward. Let me just preference that I understand, trust me, I was taught. I am in that culture… Personally, I would’ve chosen Rosa Parks. I would’ve chosen someone to the progression we are doing now.”
