Raven Symone succeeded at ruffling a fair share of feathers before the week is over. During her extended co-host duties on The View this week, the topic of a brand new face on U.S. currency came up. Thanks to Women on 20s—a grassroots campaign to see a female face on the $20 bill—there’s a chance we could see Harriet Tubman gracing the bills if President Obama persuades the Secretary of the Treasury to swap out Andrew Jackson. After a 10-week campaign, out of over 600,000 voters and 1 million votes cast, 118,328 people voted for Ms. Tubman, 111,227 picked Eleanor D. Roosevelt, 64,173 voted for Rosa Parks and 58,703 chose Wilma Mankiller.
While the other The View co-hosts celebrated the progress, Raven wasn’t feeling Tubman as the number one pick.

“No offense to everyone that’s going to be mad at me for saying this, I don’t like that idea,” she said with a frown. “I think we need to move a little bit forward. Let me just preference that I understand, trust me I was taught. I am in that culture… Personally, I would’ve chosen Rosa Parks. I would’ve chosen someone to the progression we are doing now.”
