The whole country has something to say about her, so of course her school mates would chime in too. This was inevitable.
Black just told ABC News … students were constantly targeting her, explaining, “When I walk by they’ll start singing ‘Friday’ in a really nasally voice … Or, you know, they’ll be like, ‘Oh hey, Rebecca, guess what day it is?'”
Black’s mom told ABC the move will also help the 14-year-old focus on her career.
That type of harassment doesn’t actually sound that bad. Rebecca has to get a thick skin if she’s really going to have a “career.” As long as no one is putting their hands on her or making threats then there’s probably no need to worry. But her mom knows best for her, so there we have it.
