Rihanna’s life is receiving a different type of documentation. The “Kiss It Better” singer’s career and life will be depicted on the silver screen in a forthcoming self-titled documentary.
According to Deadline, director Peter Berg will helm the feature film, which he described as “an unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life and how she’s ascended to become a global icon, providing a glimpse into the evolution of one of the world’s most well-known pop artists.”
Rih and Berg previously teamed up for her theatrical debut for Battleship in 2012 so there’s a sense of familiarity there. She’s also rumored to star in the doc as well, which has yet to receive a premiere date.
The “Work” artist is currently on tour for her sold out ANTI global trek, stopping in Toronto for a two-night stay at the Air Canada Centre on Wednesday (Apr. 13).
