Los Angeles Laker Ron Artest is probably best known for being one of the NBA’s most talented and skilled basketball players, but in tonight’s edition of TV One’s documentary series, Life After he doesn’t shy away from his career’s controversies. The episode chronicles his Queensbridge, New York roots, (also home to the nation’s largest housing project) his love and devotion of children and his career successes with Sacramento and the Houston Rockets. But perhaps his most infamous on the court moment seen around the world was the ‘brawl in the stands’ that occurred during the Pistons and Rockets game.
To find out more about Artest’s life before and after the brawl, tune into Life After: Ron Artest. It’s currently airing on TV One, check your local listing for show times.—Ronke Idowu Reeves
