It’s been a busy week for Samira Wiley. As she inches closer to the release of her upcoming film Nerve, word has come that the former Orange Is The New Black actress has added another role to her ever-growing acting resume.
According to Deadline, Wiley has joined the cast of Hulu’s upcoming adaptation of The Handmaid’s Tale. Based on the science fiction novel of the same name by Margaret Atwood, the streaming adaptation will condense Atwood’s 46-chapter novel into a 10-episode project tailor-made for a television premiere sometime in 2017.
