Next month marks the 20th anniversary since the release of the legendary Warner Brothers picture, Space Jam. To commemorate one of the highest grossing sports related films ever, Fathom Events is bringing Michael Jordan and the Toon-Squad back to the big screen. The Bill Murray featured film will be screened at various locations across the country on November 13th and 16th, exclusively.
“Space Jam has been a family favorite for the last 20 years and is sure to remain so for the next 20 and beyond,” VP of Studio Relations, Tom Lucas expressed in a press release. “This event is the perfect chance for audiences of all ages to view the film as it was meant to be seen, on the big screen.”
There’s been rumblings of a LeBron James featured sequel of the film, which original director, Joe Pytka says is “doomed.” The 90s family favorite comedy will be screened at 450 theaters across the nation. Check to see if the classic will be playing at a location near you here.
Prior to Space Jam, the Looney Tunes short, “I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat” will be screened.
90s kids around the world, rejoice.
