
The recent premiere (June 6) of the second season of Power on Starz was ground-breaking. The show garnered the biggest amount of viewers the network has ever received for an original series. If that’s not enough, the network just announced that they will renew the drama for a third season.

Created by Courtney Kemp Agboh, Power stars Curtis Jackson, a.k.a. 50 Cent, Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora, and La La Anthony. The New York-based drama details a slew of dangerous vignettes from the drug business.
According to Entertainment Weekly, Starz has already secured 10 episodes for the third installment, which will start production in September.–Richy Rosario
