Tekashi 6ix9ine and three other associates were reportedly arrested by federal police Sunday night (Nov. 18) on racketeering charges.
According to TMZ, Tekashi, real name Daniel Hernandez, is currently in federal custody along with his former manager Shottie. The 22-year-old Brooklyn, New York native revealed he fired his entire team during an interview with Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club last week.
Faheem Walter, another one of Tekahsi’s associates, better known as Crippy, was also arrested. He was shot a few backs due to an altercation with the rapper’s record label.
It’s reported all men are facing racketeering charges along with firearm charges. The racketeering charge isn’t Tekashi’s first encounter with law enforcement. A New York judge recently gave the “Fefe” rapper probation for his child sex abuse charge stemming from a 2015 performance. A video showcases Tekahsi fondling a 13-year-old girl’s breast, smacking her butt and watching two other men penetrate her orally and vaginally.
The rapper admitted in detail to the sex crime but was able to avoid jail time. He was instructed to stay out of trouble. On Nov. 8, shots rang out on the Beverly Hills set of his music video which featured Nicki Minaj and Kanye West. No one was hurt.
