After breaking a glistening sweat on set for Kanye West’s “Fade” visual, Teyana Taylor is poised to take her talents to the small screen with VH1’s The Breaks.
The Harlemite snagged a recurring role on the forthcoming show, which debuted in a movie format earlier this year starring Mack Wilds, Wood Harris, Method Man and more. The show is based off of the 2011 bestseller, “The Big Payback,” written by Dan Charnas. The lens followed three friends who went against all odds to make it in the business of hip hop.
With the premiere of the film back in January, 2.6 million viewers tuned into the show. Hopefully, a similar viewership tally will occur once the series hits the cable network.
