The first trailer for the upcoming Toni Braxton Lifetime biopic Unbreak My Heart has been released, and so far it looks promising.
The film and title are based off of Braxton’s 2014 memoir, which chronicles her rise to fame, her chart-topping success, financial woes, struggle with illness, her divorce and raising her son with Autism.
The TV movie, which is set for a January 23 release, stars Lex Scott Davis as the Grammy-Award winner. Longtime friend and musical collaborator Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds will produce the film, while Braxton will executive produce and guest star as herself.
