This trailer could mean game, set and match if EA doesn’t show something soon!
If you weren’t hyped for NBA 2K13‘s release (or didn’t check out our 5 reasons to thank Jay-Z for executive producing the game), you have to be a little excited to see this trailer.
Powered by the Hip-Hop classic rally cry, “Victory,” by The Notorious B.I.G., P. Diddy and Busta Rhymes, the NBA’s greatest stars create one of the most scintillating montages you’ll ever see. The new right-stick isomotion moves are on display throughout the clip, but that isn’t all. Kevin Garnett‘s push-ups at the :30 mark show off 2K13’s pre-game rituals. At :33, the left-handed windmill by Paul George may indicate the ability for customizable dunks.
We’ll stop talking and let you see the hoopla for the hoops game yourself:
For those who have been playing 2K since the early Dreamcast days, this may be the apex of what you hope a basketball video game could do, OR, 2K Sports could just be scratching the surface on new abilities.
There’s so much flash and substance wrapped into this game that October 2 cannot come soon enough. But mark your calendars, as that is the day when NBA 2K13, executive produced by Jay-Z, hits shelves for the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and PC.
