
If you’ve never seen Training Day (which isn’t something we suggest you use as an ice breaker at a bar) no worries, CBS has ordered the Antoine Fuqua film as a network series.

Training Day the show will pick up 15 years after the film and take place in modern LAPD. The series will be executive produced by Hollywood heavyweight Jerry Bruckheimer, along with Fuqua who will also direct.

No word if Ethan Hawke or Denzel Washington, who earned the Academy Award for his portrayal as the crooked Det. Alonzo Harris, will appear on the show in any flashback scenes because (14-year-old spoiler alert) he dies at the end.
