She was born Karrine Steffans, christened herself a Video Vixen and was dubbed ‘Superhead’ by many of the rappers she had dalliances with on her rise to fame. In her worst of times she was strung out on drugs and living out of a car with her son, but now Steffans seems to be enjoying the best of times. Married to Darius McCrary of Young And The Restless and Family Matters fame, she  has reinvented herself as a New York Times best selling author (Confessions of a Video Vixen, The Vixen Diaries and The Vixen Manual: How to Find, Seduce & Keep The Man You Want) and couples course instructor.
