DreamWorks Animation is hoping to spawn a box office blockbuster with Mr. Peabody & Sherman from the old Rocky & Bullwinkle Show. Do they have a hit or not?
Based on the “Peabody’s Improbably History” segments from the classic animated show, the film version finds genius inventor canine Mr. Peabody (voiced by Ty Burrell from ABC’s Modern Family) attempting to correct the course of human history alongside his adopted human Sherman (Max Charles) and his classmate, Penny (Ariel Winter).
As the trio jump in the WABAC machine to travel across the ageless timeline, hilarity and hijinks are abound for them, which hopefully bodes well for audiences.

The clip is beaming with cuteness and will appeal to an audience who can appreciate funny historical humor. Directed by Rob Minkoff (The Lion King), the project also stars Stephen Colbert, Mel Brooks, Leslie Mann, Lake Bell, and Stanley Tucci.
Expect Mr. Peabody & Sherman to race into theaters right on time on March 7, 2014.
