Needless to say, you have been warned. While we’re not sure there will ever be a true “green-band” trailer for Lars von Trier’s Nymphomaniac film, this adult clip summarizes the tale of a self-diagnosed “sex addict” named Joe (Charlotte Gainsbourg).
Joe’s erotic journey is told from birth to the age of 50, as narrated by the lead character. The plot finds our sexually liberated heroine beaten and discovered by an old, charming bachelor named Seligman (Stellan Skarsgård). After bringing her home to his flat, he tends to her wounds while inquiring about her harrowing life. The next eight chapters takes movie fans on a lushly branched-out and multifaceted story of Joe’s life, rich in associations, interjecting incidents, and sadistic spankings.

Nymphomaniac, directed by Lars von Trier, is jammed packed with stars like Shia LaBeouf, Jamie Bell, Uma Thurman, Willem Dafoe, and Stacy Martin. The freaky ensemble cast has no release date (yet) for the U.S., but will be opening in Denmark and Norway this December.
