Wendy Williams and her Hobbit like hooves feet got the boot from last night’s Dancing With The Stars, making her the second contestant sent home. She struggled with the choreography and the judges’ criticism since the show began, so this doesn’t come as a shocker. But at least she took it gracefully and in typical Wendy fashion, she didn’t leave without having some funny things to say to America.
“Despite the stereotypes, this is one black girl who can’t even do the running man,” she said during her post elimination interview.
Part of why she isn’t salty about the elimination is because she’s a busy woman with a career and family that needs tending to.
“[I’m] relieved,” Williams added. “I’m getting on a jet plane and going back to everything that’s near and dear to me that I’ve neglected personally for this six-week journey. I have a 10-year-old son and any parent knows that 5th grade and being 10 is a child on the brink! I have a 12-year marriage and a talk show that demands my attention, too.”
