Wendy Williams is almost incapable of holding her tongue, it’s not something the talk show host does. For better or for worse, Wendy is going to give you her opinion on the matter and let the chips fall where they may, so we’re just praying over her mentions when the Navy gets word of what she said.
During her Hot Topics segment, Wendy claimed that despite all of Rihanna’s success, she’s only good for right now and won’t be considered a legend like Beyonce.
“Rihanna will not be a legend. Nope!” the 51 year old said. “Beyonce will do her residency in Vegas at 55 years old and you will go see her. Rihanna will attempt to do it but as soon as she get up there and says the B word better have my money…”
The studio audience then co-signed Williams’ statements with a round of applause before she polished off comments.
“Rihanna is good for right now. She’s not a legend. Nor will she be.”
Pretty harsh words for someone who’s album just went platinum. Think Wendy is at it again? Or does she have a point?
