A beauty website received the ire of the Internet and more than a few side eyes Oscar night (Sunday, February 28) when for whatever reason they mistook Whoopi Goldberg for Oprah Winfrey.
TotalBeauty.com tweeted a photo of Goldberg as she arrived on the Oscar red carpet. Wearing an off the shoulder floor-length black gown, the Academy-Award winner’s frock gave way to her shoulder tattoo, which was a surprise to many. However, the issue came when the site Tweeted this caption:

The tweet was live for 45 minutes before being deleted with many people pointing out the barring mistake. The company hasn’t made a public apology as of yet despite the error. Still not sure why Goldberg was confused for Winfrey, but hey, we all make mistakes, right?
