After Barack Obama’s historic visit to Cuba, the president, First Lady and their daughter boarded Air Force One and traveled to Argentina for the second half of their Latin America trip. But it wasn’t all business, as Obama showcased his impressive Tango skills during a state dinner Wednesday night. (March 23)
The president and his wife, Michelle were led to the dance floor by performers at the function and according to reports, Obama politely declined the female dancer’s hand a few times before giving in and basically owning the dance floor. (Kidding)
Flotus also partook in the festivities and danced during the dinner proving she’s no slouch. According to CBS News White House Correspondent Mark Knoller, The president’s dance partner later assured the First Lady the dance was just a dance.

Despite the fun nature of Obama’s Tango, it drew criticism from some citing the impromptu Tango was inappropriate and insensitive in lieu of the attack in Brussels.
“The advance person who let him do the tango, that person ought to be looking for work on somebody’s — in somebody’s campaign very, very far away,” Richard Haass, the president of the Council on Foreign Relations said. “That was a tremendous mistake. It’s fine to go to Argentina, you want to do the work, but you’ve got to be careful of these little photo ops and optics. Baseball games and tangos, that’s inconsistent with the seriousness of the day.”
