On Wednesday (July 6), Philando Castile was gunned down by a police officer in front of his fiancee and 4-year-old daughter in cold blood after he reached for his wallet during a traffic stop. This, along with the Alton Sterling shooting earlier this week, has sparked outrage throughout the masses and there are pending investigations on both cases.

Castile’s fiancee, Diamond Reynolds, filmed the entire incident as it was occurring. On Friday (July 8) she spoke about his death in detail at a press conference in St. Paul, Minn. Visibly shaken up, she stated, “This is bigger than Philando. This is bigger than Trayvon Martin. This is bigger than Sandra Bland. This is bigger than all of us.”
