Officials are currently looking for a man who allegedly assaulted George Zimmerman last weekend. According to WFTV9, the incident happened at a restaurant in Sanford, Fla. where Zimmerman was present with an unidentified friend.
During the 911 call, Zimmerman claimed he went to Gators Riverside to order food to go. While ordering his meal, Zimmerman approached a patron to compliment his tattoos. The New York Daily News claims Zimmerman introduced himself as “the guy who killed Trayvon Martin” and “pulled out his identification card to brag.” It was then that the alleged suspect approached him and questioned why he was bragging about the murder. Zimmerman also told police the man, who is white and identified as “Eddie,” punched him in the face.
But another witness claimed a fight didn’t happen, just a light shoving match. In the end, Zimmerman was left with broken glasses and the internet–a big smile on its face.
