A Georgia couple decided to make their love official by tying the knot in the same place they reconnected four years prior: A grocery market.
According to reports, four years ago, Charles Larry Tinson had to make a quick run to into the Harvey’s Supermarket for some cranberry sauce on Thanksgiving when he ran into Mary, his now wife, but a woman he hadn’t seen in nearly two decades.
“I heard someone say ‘Hey girl’ and I turned around and said ‘Oh my God, Larry? I haven’t seen you in over twenty something years,’” Mary Tinson said. Let Mary tell it, Charles has had a thing for her for quite some time. “You can often tell when a man has a crush on you,” Mary said.
The two began to date and when Larry popped the question, Mary (of course) said yes, but wondered where they would exchange their wedding vows. Larry had the perfect idea.
“She asked me where are we going to get married and I said at Harvey’s where I met you,” said Larry.
The team at Harvey’s were more than happy to assist with the wedding, which took several months of planning along with live music. The grocery store even pitched in the wedding cake. About 70 guests arrived to see Mary and Larry tie the knot and as a wedding gift, the couple handed out cranberry sauce.
Congrats to Larry and Mary Tinson.
