Islamic State has reportedly issued a threat to the United States following its violent attack on Paris this past Friday (Nov. 13). In a video posted to a website operated by the collective, a man identified as “Al Ghareeb the Algerian” sent a warning to America, revealing an intention to launch an attack in Washington D.C, according to a report by Yahoo! News.
“We say to the states that take part in the crusader campaign that, by God, you will have a day, God willing, like France’s and by God, as we struck France in the center of its abode in Paris, then we swear that we will strike America at its center in Washington,” he said.
“Al Ghareeb the Algerian” warns France against its air strikes on Syria, and threatened further attacks in Europe. The FBI has not offered comment on the newly-released footage, and the authenticity of the clip has not been confirmed. Another man in the video, identified as “Al Karrar the Iraqi,” told French President Francois Hollande: “we have decided to negotiate with you in the trenches and not in the hotels.”
“I say to the European countries that we are coming, coming with booby traps and explosives, coming with explosive belts and (gun) silencers and you will be unable to stop us because today we are much stronger than before,” Al Ghareeb said.
