Little Kameria became an Internet sensation when her grandmother broke the sad news to her Barack Obama’s time in office would soon come to an end. The first-grader, who grew up with Obama as president, didn’t take the news well and began balling. The video, which expressed the sentiments many have as Obama’s term comes to a close, went viral. POTUS got wind of Kameria’s heartfelt reaction and later took to Facebook to respond.
But to prove how much of an awesome president he is, Obama invited Kameria and her family to the White House Easter Sunday to partake in their last Easter Egg Roll. Dressed in her Sunday’s best, Kameria brought the letter she wrote to Obama introducing herself asking him not to leave office. Although Obama can’t promise to remain president, he did make the 7-year-old’s dream come true by greeting her with the biggest hug.
Watch the aww-worthy moment below.
