The Baton Rouge rapper served nine months on 30-month prison sentence for felony gun possession. Last year, Gates was released from prison after serving six months for kicking a fan in the chest during one of his concerts. Before that sentence was complete, he was arrested for an outstanding warrant in Illinois for felony gun charges.
The veteran rapper will be on supervised probation also, but that’s much better than being in jail.
Gates went to his Twitter and Instagram account and shared an image of the words “I’M HIM.”
