An Illinois woman named Peggy Hubbard didn’t hold back when she took to her Facebook page to post a video about her thoughts on the Black Lives Matter movement.
“Y’all are hollering this Black Lives Matter bullsh*t. It don’t matter, you’re killing each other.”

Hubbard’s six-minute video uploaded August 20th, has since gone viral, and been viewed more than 7 million times. During the rant, the St. Louis., Mo., native said the police shooting of 18-year-old Mansur Ball-Bey, whom she referred to as a “thug” wasn’t as important as the shooting of Jamyla Bolden, who was killed by a stray-bullet during a drive by shooting August 18.
“Last night, who do you think they protested for? The thug, the criminal, because they’re howling, ‘Police brutality,’ “Hubbard said. “Are you f–king kidding me? Police brutality? How about black brutality? A little girl is dead. You say black lives matter? Her life mattered. Her dreams mattered. Her future mattered. Her promises mattered. It mattered.”
Hubbard, who according to her Facebook page retired from the IRS, believes in the Madea school of thinking when it comes to raising children, which is why she turned her son into police.

“Let me tell you something. I got a kid locked up. Oh yeah, I put him there. I turned his ass in. Yes I did because I’m a strong black woman. I am a black mother. I told my children that if you f–k up, if you go to jail, I am not getting you out. You will stay there. You will do the time. I’m not putting nothing on your books, I am not coming to visit you. I ain’t sending you magazines. I’m not doing s–t for you because I did everything I could for you out here and yet you chose to go in there. F–k you”
Since the release of Hubbard’s video, she’s received praise and backlash but vows to take the high road.
Look, I don’t pretend to have all the answers on whats wrong with the black community. I am just Peggy. I can be rough around the edges. I can be well spoken. I can sling it with the best of them. I am real. And, hopefully honest. Straight up is what I am and I DON’T roll any punches. But, what I am NOT is a “sell out”. I had alot of positive feedback from alot of people from my black community to keep going. I had alot of negative feedback also from people in black communities as well. Calling me unspeakable things. Yes, I lashed out and gave it back. But, the high road is where I need to stay. I will NOT jump on your “HATE WHITE PEOPLE!” I’m not built that way. I am not viable to my black community, because I am not jumping on YOUR bandwagon to, hate the police, hate white people, scream racism, be “anti-government? Sorry to disappoint! But, my momma did raise any fools. If YOUR life is in shambles? If your are standing around pointing blame? START WITH YOURSELVES! I speak from experience. You want “black lives matter?” Then START WITH YOUR BLACK LIFE! Keep your racism, my heart belongs to LOVE.
