Philadelphia Eagles wideout DeSean Jackson was victim of a burglary. The football player was out of town in Miami following the Eagles’ 2-point playoff loss to the New Orleans Saints when his home in South Philadelphia was robbed. His mother found his bedroom had been ransacked when she went to the home Friday night and called police the following morning. Among the things missing are $250,000 in cash, $125,000 worth of jewelry and two semi-automatic handguns, reports CNN.
There was no sign of forced entry, making things more suspicious. It is believed that the robbery took place sometime between Monday and Friday. The Philadelphia police have made no arrests in the case either.
Jackson uploaded a picture of himself in good spirits today with the caption, “The things they do 4 a lil paper !! Keep a smile on my face God Plan 4 me bigger then that !!” Jackson is reportedly owed $30.5 million over the next three years with the Eagles, so at least he still will have money to eat.
