Police arrested and charged a 27-year-old New Jersey man for allegedly shooting two men at J.Cole’s “Forest Hills Drive Tour” stop in Holmdel, NJ.

Tickets sold out to see the Fayetteville native’s performance with Big Sean, Jeremih, and YG at PNC Bank Arts Center (Aug, 3). During the concert, a gunman fired multiple shots in the parking lot and left two men in critical condition. New Jersey State Police offered a $5,000 reward in hopes of identifying a suspect. After two days, they narrowed down their search to Quran Powell of Holmdel. He is currently in custody at Monmouth County Jail.
State and Monmouth County officials obtained a warrant for the home of Powell on Wednesday (Aug. 6). Further investigation brought them to East Orange where the suspect was believed to be hiding. Powell cooperated when the East Orange Police found him at an apartment complex.

Powell is charged with two counts of attempted homicide, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose, and certain persons not to possess a firearm. The bail is set at $750,000. He must make full bail for release.
