As the water crisis in Flint, Michigan wages on, many of hip-hop’s most notable celebrities have stepped up and donated countless bottles of clean water to the families and children effected, of those celebrities is Russell Simmons.
Russell Simmons helped to deliver more than 150,000 bottles of AQUAhydrate Monday. (February 1) Simmons, founder of the RushCard, teamed up with the California based company to provide aid to those most in need. The RushCard donation is part of Sean “Diddy” Combs and Mark Walhberg’s pledge to donate one million bottles of water to Flint.
Simmons, Walhberg and Diddy are just a few of the artists who are providing assistance to to the families in Flint and it’s great to see hip-hop come together in such a big way.
Good looks, Mr. Simmons.
