While many in Baltimore continue to peacefully assemble in the wake of Freddie’s Gray’s death, thousand of New Yorkers have rallied in Union Square to show solidarity with their fellow man.
On Wednesday evening (April 28) more than 1,000 New Yorkers came together to protest the recent death of 25 year old Gray who died while in police custody, and demand justice for the the countless other black men and women who have died by the hands of law enforcement.
ABC News reports at least a dozen people were arrested, while other marchers chanted “hands up, don’t shoot!” or “no justice, no peace!”
