What would you do if you won a $188 million Powerball lottery jackpot? One North Carolina woman’s answer: “bail my man out of jail.”
The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office recently confirmed that a man by the name of Lamarr “Hot Sauce” McDow was bailed out of jail by his fiancee, 26-year-old Marie Holmes – for the second time. McDow was arrested on July 23 after allegedly violating his set curfew for his pre-trial release, local news station WWAY TV 3 reports. Holmes put up a hefty $6 million for his release, which marks the second time she dropped cash on a prison release for McDow. Back in March, she bailed “Hot Sauce” out for $3 million.

McDow was arrested in November 2014 and charged with trafficking heroin and possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver heroin. A year-long investigation led to his capture after authorities retrieved over 8,000 bags of heroin. During his latest arrest, police smelled marijuana and procured a search warrant, leading to a possession of a firearm charge. But contrary to his rap sheet, Holmes reportedly wrote on Facebook that McDow is not a drug dealer:
“What Y’all need to be worried about is Y’all money and not how I spend mine this is benefitting Y’all how? And no he’s no drug dealer or user but who are Y’all to judge anybody? I will definitely pray for Y’all because it’s much need…they talked about Jesus so I’m not surprised Y’all are talking about me but be blessed though.”
Welp. There’s one definition of a “rider.”
