No matter where you are in the world, Apple is known for its innovative nature and its ability to exceed limits.
Now, the billion dollar company will also be known for practicing equal pay for both men and women. More than just that, the company has also reached its goal to create a more diverse environment with a wide range of minorities as employees.
“We’ve achieved equal pay in the United States for similar roles and performance,” stated Apple’s report. “Women earn one dollar for every dollar male employees earn. And underrepresented minorities earn one dollar for every dollar white employees earn.”
According to the report, approximately 68 percent of the global workforce is male, 56 percent white. Apple also has a 27 percent hire rate for minorities, compared to its 21 percent rate in 2014.
