While appearing on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, mommy-to-be Chrissy Teigen revealed that a very special friend of the family approves the name of her unborn daughter, who is set to arrive in mid-April. That special friend just so happens to be President Barack Obama.
While cooking with Colbert to promote her new cookbook, Cravings, the model and wife of musician John Legend discussed her soon-to-be baby girl’s name while preparing some spring rolls.
“We change it all the time” the model and host explained before giving us the very important inside scoop. “I asked Barack…we’re very first name basis…if he liked one of our name choices and he said he did.” Although the baby’s name gets the Presidential Seal of Approval, Mr. Legend is not crazy about it. However, Teigen is hoping that Obama’s influence will help him change his mind.
“John isn’t sold on the name, so I figured if he [Obama] liked it, then John would be sold on it. He says it’s too ‘Hollywood.'” I guess we’ll have to see in mid-April what the little Legend’s name will be! View the video below.
