After endorsing Hillary Clinton in a heartfelt op-ed last month (Oct 2), LeBron James introduced the Democratic Presidential candidate at an Ohio rally Sunday (Nov 6), just two days before from the election. Cavalier teammate J.R. Smith also made an appearance on stage next to James and Clinton, with his family.

“Only one person running truly understands the struggles of an Akron child born into poverty,” James said. “And when I think about the kinds of policies and ideas the kids in my foundation need from our government, the choice is clear. That candidate is Hillary Clinton.” LeBron continued, “We need a president who understands our community and will build on the legacy of President Obama. So let’s register to vote, show up to the polls, and vote for Hillary Clinton,” penned the 4-time MVP.
Clinton also had some kind words for LeBron, honoring his impressive philanthropic and charitable efforts off-the-court, as well as his heroic efforts on it. “He cares for every child, as if that child were his own,” said Hillary.
