First Lady Michelle Obama is gracing our television screens on various programs this month, most recently being Stephen Colbert’s Late Show.
The stunning public figure discussed her fondest memories as FLOTUS, and what’s next for her Let Girls Learn organization, and answered this pressing question from Colbert that’s making headlines. The television host asked Mrs. Obama if she had any “sympathy” for the backlash that Melania Trump received for her plagiarized RNC speech.
“Melania Trump was criticized for using what turned out to be a portion of your speech, but do you have any sympathy?” Colbert questioned. “Because there are people around her creating things, and you know, I have sympathy for her.”
Obama curtly said, “Yeah, that was tough,” before Colbert swiftly segued to the next topic.
She also did a spot-on impression of President Barack Obama, which was inspired by the dinner conversations he has with the First Family.
