If you’ve ever thought, “Damn, I wish I was Beyonce,” you and Michelle Obama have something in common.
During a sit-down with Wale as part of her Reach Higher Initiative, the MMG rapper and the first lady traded a series of questions submitted by students. One inquiry for Mrs. Obama was, “If you had the opportunity to have a different occupation, what would it be?” And the answer to this question was the answer that many women around the world would have offered: “I would be Beyonce:”

Beyonce and Mrs. Obama’s relationship stems as far back as President Obama’s first run for office. The superstar has since performed at their first Inaugural Ball, Obama’s second inauguration, and aided the first lady in her Let’s Move! campaign to promote exercise for American youth. In 2012, Queen Bey showed her admiration for Mrs. Obama with an open letter, dubbing her “the ultimate example of a truly strong African American woman.”
