With the upcoming presidential election wistfully reminding us that President Barack Obama’s tenure is coming to an end, it’s only right everyone is feeling bummed the coolest president will no longer hold down The White House.
Activist Michael Skolnik led the trip down memory lane via Twitter with photos of Obama with children.
We'll never truly be able to measure the impact that President @BarackObama has had on our children.

One of the most recognizable #ObamaAndKids photos goes back to 2010 when Obama let then five-year-old Jacob Philadelphia touch his hair after the toddler wanted to know of they shared the same texture.

The photo, taken by White House photographer Pete Souza, is hanging in the West Wing with other legendary photos.“As a photographer, you know when you have a unique moment. But I didn’t realize the extent to which this one would take on a life of its own,” Souza told The New York Times in 2012. “That one became an instant favorite of the staff. I think people are struck by the fact that the president of the United States was willing to bend down and let a little boy feel his head.”
It’s safe to say no matter how you feel about the past eight years, Obama has definitely left a mark on America’s children.
