In case you weren’t aware, President Obama luh’ the kids. Exhibited on Saturday (Feb. 21) with the #ObamaAndKids hashtag, POTUS has a special connection with the children of America. One little one in particular, went viral on Facebook last week after her grandmother caught footage of her crying because this is Obama’s final year in office. The girl’s grandmother, Caprina D Harris, posted the footage of her granddaughter wailing from separation anxiety.
Upon the news that President Obama will soon be replaced, the girl says what a lot of voters feel: “I’m not ready for a new one!”
Turns out, President Obama himself caught wind of Harris’ grandbaby – who also shares a birthday with him – and left a comment on the Facebook post. Letting the girl know that he’s “not going anywhere,” Obama encourage her to “get involved” in helping the country when she gets older.
“Caprina, tell her to dry her tears, because I’m not going anywhere,” he wrote. “Once I leave the White House, I’ll still be a citizen just like her. And when she grows up, she can get involved right alongside me. In the meantime, I’ll keep an eye out for her letter, and we’ll always get to celebrate our birthdays together!”

On Saturday morning just before Gymnastics, My Dranbaby found out that our President Barack Obama was no longer going to be our President!!! He has been her President all of her life and Yes her birthday is also on AUGUST 4!!!! My poor baby!!!
